The Oral-B Pro 2 2000N cross-action toothbrush, at the time of writing, is currently on offer on Amazon and at just over £30 is a steal!  Beware though, there are a few different options/colours and they all have a different price.  I think this is one of Oral-B’s more basic models but it works really well and I’m very happy with it.  I feel that my teeth are much cleaner than when using a manual toothbrush and my mouth feels nice and fresh.  I had read a few reviews about the lithium battery not lasting too long on this model but I have not found this a problem, so I am not sure if that is due to my inexperience with electric toothbrushes (may be more expensive toothbrushes last longer?).

There aren’t too many special features on this toothbrush but in my opinion there are enough.  The 2 minute timer and red light if you are brushing too hard are really useful and all I feel I really need.  You can also buy different types of heads for this brush, which are reasonably priced but do double check which fit which model as Oral-B have so many and it can be a pain trying to return them.
